B I O G R A P H Y
Alto and Tenor Saxophonist Räto Harder (*1969) studied saxophone with Jürg Morgenthaler and Philip Malle, composition and arranging at the conservatory in Schaffhausen and Zurich. Dedicated to improvisational music Räto Harder played in numerous Jazz Combos. However, Harder takes an increasing interest in contemporary music, which was also fostered by the cooperation with the ensemble "Drum" (Karel Boeschoten, Marius Ungureanu).C O M P O S I T I O N S
Composition of the film music for documentary films ("Dimitri - Clown", "Adolf Dietrich" and "Varlin" by Friedrich Kappeler), film music project with live music at the cinema to accompany Russian silent films (with Marius Ungureanu). With a composition for Trio Harder participated at the International Festival for Contemporary Music in Bukarrest and at the Seelenscheider Musiktagen. Setting to music of "Der alte Zauberer" by Friedrich Glauser and other readings with Hans Rudolf Twerenbold in Zurich and Baden.C O N C E R T S & T O U R S
